Working for over 8 years now in the Riviera Maya I have been taking photos of countless families, couples and individuals in a variety of settings. Photographing people on a daily basis has shaped me, made me a better professional without being repetitive and condescending or just pretending to know everything better. Besides all technicality, photography, for me, always delves deeply into the really of human connection, emotions and interactions.
As a photographer and human being my main goal is always trying to create a comfortable atmosphere but it is equally important to understand that your attitudes plays a big roll in the outcome as well. Here are some key points that help you understand how you can influence the outcome of a session.
1.) Set the tone
If you already decided to spent some money on a photo shoot, than you might as well be positive about it. Being enthusiastic can create an atmosphere of excitement and collaboration, leading to more authentic and dynamic photographs. Conversely, a negative or indifferent attitude can dampen the mood and hinder my ability to capture genuine expressions and emotions.

2.) Building Trust
If you want me to capture your true essence you will need to trust me as a knowledgeable artist but even more as a human being. I am an open minded, accepting and kind person and usually very easy to connect with so don’t worry to open up a bit. I know it is an unusual situation to be open to a stranger, but also it doesn’t harm and it usually helps the photos, especially if you are looking for candid shots. If you don’t like that at all, that’s ok too. Just be aware that your input matters in whatever way.

3.) Collaborative Creativity:
Photography is a collaborative process between the photographer and the subject.
